Vortex Solo R/T 8x36 Tactical Monocular with MRAD Reticle

This is a great monocular

I asked Santa to bring me this for Christmas and despite using Purolator it actually showed up. As an older fellow my eyes are not that great anymore and this scope has restored my distance vision. I find it absolutely fantastic, way clearer than my expensive Pentax Binoculars. Excellent magnification and field of view. Easy to use and the reticle is fun to have. Very easy to focus the scope and the reticle. Can use with and without glasses! I Have to learn the ranging math a bit better but the quick silhouettes are a great feature. The belt clip is very useful.

The lanyard was a bit disappointing but I simply replaced it with a better one. It was ok but just a bit flimsy.

10/10 would recommend this scope to friends. At my archery club it had a good reception from everyone who tried it.

Great little optic for spotting or range finding. I use it as a back up for when i shoot rifles at the range but the lower zoom allows it to still be useful at closer ranges and the focusing is broad enough you should be good down to roughly 5 yards. Cant go wrong with vortex and their warrantee (and service center in Geulph)
