Easton axis 4mm long range

I bought a dozen of these arrows just to see how much of a difference an increase in foc would make. My 5mm fmj arrows at 485 gr roughly 8.5% foc compared to the axis 4mm 415gr at roughly 13.8%. Both arrows are a 340 spine using 100gr field points, bow is at 60lbs. I haven’t found a drastic improvement in grouping size so far but I did see a large difference in trajectory. Approximately 10”-11” higher at 60 yards with the lighter axis arrow. The fmj’s seem to be a tougher arrow and will keep them as my hunting arrow. For a 3D bow I will be using the axis 4mm as I can shoot a lighter poundage with a good trajectory. They are a bit of a novelty arrow in my opinion, although I do like them. For longer draw lengths they allow you to increase your FOC with out the need to spine up in some situations. They are a pricey arrow but I will buy more in the future.
