Hunting accuracy for shooter confidence is the cornerstone of Easton 6.5 arrows. The 6.5 uses proprietary Acu-Carbon Uniform Spine process. Acu-Carbon is a continuous-fed, single-die manufacturing method that results in the most reliable tolerances and eliminates the need for the spine-alignment and weight sorting. Easton’s Acu-Carbon production line produces the most consistent spine and weight from dozen to dozen and lot to lot—year in and year out. This benefits the bowhunter with truer flight and pinpoint accuracy in the field.

The Easton 6.5 includes NEW 6.5mm inserts that are made using a 4x-larger shoulder to add strength and boost valuable FOC.

Easton 6.5 mm Match.

First: Would I buy these again? Yes.
Second: Would I recommend these. Yes

I got into my first vertical bow (compound) in August 2020. My draw length is 25” to 25.5”. I have these arrows cut to about 28”. I have my draw weight at approx. 54 lbs. I keep it well below my max ability due to I like to shoot 100 - 300 arrows per session. At the moment I’m shooting 500 spine with a 100 gr. point / head, shot through a whisker biscuit.

I have shot these with the 3 & 4 vane AAE Max Stealth (2.5 degree right helical) 4x AAE Pro Max (2 degree right helical), and 3x Flex Fletch 418 (2.5 degree right helical). All shoot well with similar results. I’ve noticed best results from the 4 vane AAE Max Stealth.

I have found these arrows are durable. Out to 30 yards I cannot aim in the same place twice without hitting vanes or arrows with the next incoming arrow. Out to 40 yards I don’t aim at the same place. At 60 yards I can touch a 2” diamond.

I have experimented with nock indexing these arrows. No need. No noticeable change. I’ve experimented with spine indexing. No need, no change, thanks to the way these are made. Note: the straightness on these is .001 not .006.

I have shot and still shoot the Easton 6.5 mm Classic and Hunter, but am at an accuracy obsession and expectation level now where these are my standard (at 16’ I have put an arrow in the same hole left by an arrow 6x). To ensure I’m shooting an arrow with the tightest tolerances I have switched to the 6.5 mm Match Grade.

At Canada Archery Online we try and offer a variety of arrow choices. This includes factory fletched, fletched and shafts. It's important to understand what this means.

Arrow buying information.

  • Fletched and Factory Fletched - The arrows come fletched from the factory. They often come with inserts included but not installed. Points are sold separately.
  • Ready to Shoot or Assembled - This means the arrow is fletched and comes with points and all components installed. Often are Factory Fletched Arrows where points are inlcuded and everything is put together by the manufacturer.
  • Shafts - This means you are purchasing just arrow shafts. These come unfletched but often with the bushing and sometimes inserts needed. Typically an archer will need to purchase nocks and points, along with any components they may need for fletching. We encourage all archers to learn fletching themselves for the ultimate custom arrow. It is also significantly less expensive over time to learn to create your own arrows!

Arrow Cutting, Insert Installation & Points.

We also offer the option to install inserts, include points and cut arrows that come fletched from the factory. These are optional services we offer as a convenience for our customers. Each one you select will be added to your cart as a service with it's own charge.

IMPORTANT

Once selected, these services will be added to your cart. Each one you choose will be separately added. If these services are removed from your cart prior to ordering, WE WILL NOT perform those services even if listed on the arrow. If you purchase a set of arrows and remove services, arrows will be shipped exactly as listed or completed with services paid for.

Only services you pay for will be performed, we will never charge you for services you did specifically add yourself.

Special orders receive top priority and are given prompt attention. While larger items like bows may not always be readily available, many special order items are consistently kept in stock. The general turnaround time for special orders is a minimum of 8 weeks, depending on the lead times set by the manufacturer.

Certain bows, such as custom target bows and high-quality traditional recurve bows, are exclusively made to order directly from the manufacturer.

In some instances, left-handed products like premium target equipment may experience unforeseen delays due to batch production by the manufacturer.

We strive to meet the deadlines mentioned above and make every effort to do so. However, there may be circumstances beyond our control that prevent us from meeting those deadlines. If such a situation arises, we will make every effort to rectify the issue. Special orders can be canceled or exchanged and are eligible for a refund after 8 weeks.

While larger items like bows may not always be readily available, many special order items are consistently kept in stock.

The general turnaround time for special orders is a minimum of 8 weeks, depending on the lead times set by the manufacturer.

Certain bows, such as compound bows, olympic recurve risers and limbs as well as traditional recurve bows, are exclusively made to order directly from the manufacturer if "special order" is indicated. They cannot be cancelled or refunded if special ordering.

We strive to meet the deadlines mentioned above and make every effort to do so. Due to extreme lack of availability and stock within the Archery industry, lead times are only estimates.

Cancelling special order items depends on the product type. For those that can be cancelled, the following fee's may apply.

  • A 5 percent restocking fee will be charged if the order has been fulfilled.
  • A 2.5 percent admin fee will apply to backorders cancelled within 8 weeks.

Some products such as custom made, made-to-order or special order bows cannot be cancelled. Many of these items are brought in from overseas or made specially by the manufacturer upon an order being placed.
