Bear Archery Super Kodiak 60" Recurve Bow

I got this bow as a treat to myself, and I was totally pleased. The bow came all set up, all I had to do was put the nock point on. The bow is dead on for the poundage of 45 lbs at 28 draw length. This bow shoots quiet, really quiet. It also shoots quite a bit faster than my other bows, and seems to hit harder. I don't have a chronograph so I can't say that is true, but its sure seems that way. I don't have to gauge my shots at 30 yards, which seems to be the point of impact for this bow, and the way I shoot it. I shoot split finger. The over all quality is excellent. The bow is light weight and has little to no vibration that I can determine. I like the grip style, which means it is slightly high wrist. I found the bow to be very smooth to draw, and a pleasure to shoot. This is a really well made bow and I would certainly recommend it as an addition or as a first bow. The bow is also centre shot, so no archers paradox per se. I shoot off the shelf, and this bow accommodates my shooting style.

I have the bear grizzly and the super kodiak is another amazing bow! Really quiet! Easy to tune and shoot! Very beautiful bow! My go too bow when I’m out hunting!
