This wrist sling is ideal for recurve archers who want to secure their bow to their wrist and avoid any possibility of dropping the bow during post-shot follow through.
Ya it works, the tightening should be easier and the clasp rings are TOO THICK, it takes many tries and some luck to get the thing clasped on. Don't waste your time and money, buy a shoelace.
This sling does exactly what it’s supposed to do; keep the bow from falling from your grip after realease. The materials are durable and will likely last for years of use.
My only quibble is with the restraining clasp. It takes some work to fit the hook into the oval clasp. A hook with a more finger-friendly close/release mechanism would be a huge benefit. As older archers get into the sport, and most importantly those of us with diminishing finger dexterity, the ease of getting into and out of this sling should be a key consideration in future modifications.
The only problem I have with it is the piece of fabric to hold the rest of the strap, it doesn't stay in place.
This is the only item in my entire order that is a disappointment. The reason is that the metal clip will scratch the paintwork on my beautiful riser! The black “sock” that’s supposed to cover the clip is useless. But, apart from this, I’d give the entire order and your attention to my questions etc. 10/10. I’ll have to buy a different wrist sling!
