Bear Super Kodiak 64

The Super Kodiak 64 ( 40 lbs) has the same high quality finishing as the other Bear Traditional bows I own. It has a much smoother draw than the shorter Kodiaks. It tuned quite easily to 600 Spine Easton Axis I prefer to use . Its a welcome addition to my collection.

Good for long drawlengths

I have a long drawlength of 31 inches, and the cheaper recurves i have tried in the past were noisy, and stacked badly on me. I decided to switch to longbows and have been much happier. However, I have always wanted a bear bow so I got this one since it's longer than the others, and i couldn't be happier with it. Super smooth and no stacking. It's louder than my longbows of course but adding string silencers did alot. I don't even feel like I need limb pad silencers on it. It's shoots very quick, there's no handshock, and the string is excellent. Typically I make my own string as soon as I get a bow but this one I am very pleased with
I highly recommend this bow, especially for long drawlengths.
