The Trad Vanes are AAE's very first vanes for traditional archery, designed in collaboration with star traditional archer Aron Snyder. Arrows fletched with Trad Vanes can be shot straight off the shelf and have the same flight characteristics as an arrow with feathers. The weather-resistant proprietary "lick and stick" Plastifletch material gives the archer an unique edge in all weather conditions. The Trad Vanes come with factory applied activator, making them low-maintenance and easy to apply.

These are the vanes best for wet weather traditional archery setups. They hit exactly the same spot as my feather fletched arrows. Great product I really like them.
The trad vanes are bright and lightweight.
They almost have a silicone like feel to them. The weatherproof element will be great in inclement weather.
I try at low temperatures the vane still soft. I shoot off the shelve and it is as good as real feather.
I will recommend this for outdoor shooting.
Picked up a bunch of these after seeing the Kaminski video helping his wife fletch her new starter videos and recommended this product to be a good balanced vane for a mix of outdoors and indoor shooting. Obviously being balanced means it doesn't excel in categories more specialized fletching would but for starter arrows these are sufficient. He did mention these are trickier to install since the contact area is smaller than other vanes but it didn't seem that difficult for me as I was able to get a consistent bead across the contact area w/o excess.
These vanes are an alternative to feathers for those who want a hunting vane that stabilizes a broadhead. They are soft and easy on a rest and easy to install. They are not quite the performance as feathers, but do their job in wet weather. Not a choice for shooting targets at 70 meters because of drag.
Special orders receive top priority and are given prompt attention. While larger items like bows may not always be readily available, many special order items are consistently kept in stock. The general turnaround time for special orders is a minimum of 8 weeks, depending on the lead times set by the manufacturer.
Certain bows, such as custom target bows and high-quality traditional recurve bows, are exclusively made to order directly from the manufacturer.
In some instances, left-handed products like premium target equipment may experience unforeseen delays due to batch production by the manufacturer.
We strive to meet the deadlines mentioned above and make every effort to do so. However, there may be circumstances beyond our control that prevent us from meeting those deadlines. If such a situation arises, we will make every effort to rectify the issue. Special orders can be canceled or exchanged and are eligible for a refund after 8 weeks.
